Solidworks 2009 Surface Repair - Part 2

This is part 2 of Surface repair. In this tutorial I am going to show you how to repair a fillet. Techniques that you use can vary in the way your models respond to your process, but understanding the basics of surface repair is the key to using surfacing tools well, to not only repair your imported model data, but to also build models using surfacing.

The fillet in in this model does not terminate properly with the surrounding surfaces, but it also blends in past the surface underneath. The surface on the bottom has been stretch and turned on its side as you will see in the below video. I am going to remove these surfaces, Offset new surfaces, trim them together and use a Sweep surface as a guide and then use the fill surface to put the fillet back into the model.
